Did you find yourself eating more during quarantine? During the COVID-19 Pandemic, it is very important to pay attention to our mental health as well as our physical health.

Currently as a nation,we are dealing with a multitude of emotions – anxiety, stress, sadness, and anger. As a result, we may be coping in different ways, including turning to food for comfort. Diet plays an important role in why we may be feeling more anxious and stressed right now, too.

A big part of staying healthy while at home is diet, which includes what you eat just as much as when, how much, and why. You may find yourself struggling with emotional eating because your emotions are heightened as you try to navigate this new norm.

The good news is you’re not alone since there are practical tools that everyone can use to improve their mental health and increase resiliency.

Also there are ways that everyone can be supportive of friends, family, and co-workers who are struggling with life’s challenges or their mental health. That’s why we’re excited to get outdoors and jump for joy to focus on stress management and exercise.

As a kid, I always loved to jump rope, so this month I would like to highlight some fun stuff!

So this month let’s jump for joy and stay safe while quarantine free!
