September 2019 blog topic: So long summer! Time to reset&revamp; get Back Into the School Groove

It’s the beginning of a new month and the third quarter of the year has passed so quickly! I hope you sizzled, and fizzled in warm weather, because unfortunately it’s time to say goodbye (for now) to beaches, shorts, tank tops and flip flops.

Now that the summer fun has ended, the new school year begins. For busy people,

a little preparation goes a long way.

Creating and sticking to new routines isn’t easy, but it will set the tone for a less stressful, more successful school year for students and parents alike.

Helping Kids Back Into the School Routine

The new school year brings new challenges for parents as well as kids. If the children’s job is to face new teachers, new classmates and new expectations, ours is to give them the structure and support at home that will enable them to do their best.

Parents let’s support our kid’s efforts and celebrate their success both equally! I hope this new school year brings joy and excitement, just like the summer months has.

Ready or not, it’s time to get back into the school groove! Let’s get it! Have a wonderful school year!

August 2019 blog topic: Summer 🌇 Sunsets

As summer vacation starts to wind down we have this month to soak in all of the last minute rays, and waves. From Palm trees, bright colors and sandy beaches, we can appreciate the opportunity to lay back and watch the sun come down and the fun turn up.

Let’s take the time to reflect on our accomplishment and enjoy each other’s company while we sip on a cold refreshing beverage. It’s the little things that matter.

Goodbye July, hello August

Summers finally here! What plans do you have for July?

Since work tends to slow down during this time of year, it’s the perfect time to learn new skills and focus on your health, or spend quality time with family/friends by going on vacation, or enjoying the outdoors.

Now that Summer is officially here, why not get your friends and family to book a getaway to soak in the sun or plan a daily outing such as visiting the aquarium or the zoo. Another great idea is to have a stay-cation like Great Wolf Lodge, Hershey Park or visit the Crayola Factory for the weekend.

May 1, 2019 blog topic: Mother May I…YES YOU MAY

This month is all about the ladies who make an impact in the lives of others.

As we welcome spring and the nice weather, flowers blooming and allergy season, let’s always remember to celebrate the wonderful women who are the foundation for their families everyday.

So for this whole month of May, I think it’s only right that we allow our mothers, grand ma’s, and aunties to let their hair down and have a little fun!

Take a vacation, get a manicure/pedicure, or go to the spa. My favorite is to give yourself a shopping spree! Whatever makes you happy and smile you should be doing this month because mothers deserve it!

Give yourself permission to put yourself first!

Remember that Self-Care, isn’t Selfish!

Mother May I..,, YES YOU MAY be 1st this month! We love ❤️ you always!

April 2019 blog topic: No fooling around

This day celebrates the tradition of April Fools’ Day by playing practical jokes on each other. So for today laugh, out loud and be generous with your time!

It’s not only the grand acts of kindness, generosity, and courage that make the biggest impact, but every small action can truly change the life of someone you know.

The essential lesson I’ve learned in life is to just be yourself. Treasure the magnificent being that you are and recognize that you’re uniquely wonderful!

Why blend in when you were born to stand out?

March may be a time of sports, and food, but the “Season of March Madness ” can also mean overspending and financial anxiety.

It’s been three months since the start of a new year, and the holidays are finally over, so now it’s time to start thinking about paying off that holiday debt.

Tips for De-stressing the March Madness of Financial Stress

Check out our easy tips can help you save money, stay on budget, keep your sanity and eat your way to a healthy lifestyle!

1. Create a Budget and Stick to it

2. Keep an eye out for coupons, discounts and deals

3. Create a Separate Savings Account for Holiday and Gift Expenses for spending

You can set out to secure a part-time seasonal job with set hours or you can pursue a more flexible way to earn extra cash by cutting coupons.

I also recommend eating foods that reduce cortisol and increase fruits and vegetables.
